The Old Mill Creamery is one of the great places to go at The Old Mill. They make ice cream the old-fashioned way in both classic and unique flavors. They use ingredients from both the Old Forge Distillery and The Old Mill Candy Kitchen as well as fresh fruit. Some of their signature flavors include Salted Caramel and Oat Mill Cream Pie. On the other hand, some of the crowd favorites are Cookie Dough, Mint Chocolate Chip, and Chocolate. Everyone will be able to find a favorite! If you’re having trouble choosing just one flavor, get multiple scoops piled high in an ice cream sundae!

2. Buzzed Bull Creamery

The process makes the ice cream creamier which means it’s even more delicious. Their specialties include Tiger Stripes, Dreamsicle, and Strawberry Shortcake. You can also enjoy the classic flavors, such as chocolate, vanilla, and cookie dough.  While visitors of all ages can enjoy the ice cream by itself, adult guests can add in favorite spirits. The menu has a “Suggested Buzz” for each flavor.  For example, Dreamsicle blends well with Orange Vodka, Tiger Stripes tastes great with spiced rum, and Strawberry Shortcake mixes well with strawberry vodka!  Besides ice cream, Buzzed Bull Creamery also serves hot or iced coffee and hot chocolate!

3. Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar

Looking for a sweet treat in Gatlinburg? Head over to The Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar. It is named for their menu of very unique milkshakes.  When ordering your sweet treat, you can choose from classic ice cream flavors such as chocolate and cookies n’ cream. When you get your milkshake though, you will have way more than just a cherry on top. For example, their Meet Me in the Mountains milkshake is a glass filled to the brim with chocolate ice cream. It is then topped with a Rice Krispy Treat, a MoonPie, Teddy Grahams, and whipped cream. Visitors get multiple treats in one dessert! If you would prefer something less extravagant, you can order the Simple Mason. It is any one of their premium ice cream flavors with whipped cream and a cherry on top. You can also order a Crazy Bomb. This is ice cream served between 2 cookies! As for other items on the menu, customers can choose from non-dairy and gluten-free options as well.

4. The Donut Friar

Get the classic glazed or one topped with chocolate and sprinkles. If you can’t choose just one favorite, get them all! You can take a box home and eat them later! As for other desserts, the shop has cinnamon bread, cheese danishes, and eclairs! Need a little extra energy? Simply pair your treat with a hot coffee or espresso. Kids will love the hot cocoa!
