3 Tips for Hosting a Group Vacation in Our Smoky Mountain Cabins

A group vacation is a time that everyone looks forward to. You get to escape your daily routine and spend time with loved ones while doing fun activities. A spacious cabin in the Smokies is a great place to host it. Read on and find out how to make your group’s stay with us the best it can be. Here is a list of 3 tips for hosting a group vacation in our Smoky Mountain cabins:

1. Choose the Right Cabin Size

Our Smoky Mountain cabins come in a variety of sizes. This makes them great for any type of group vacation, whether you’re having a small family get together or a large wedding. The right size cabin will allow everyone to spend time together while still having plenty of room to relax. Our smallest cabins have 5 bedrooms and can sleep anywhere from 10 to 27 guests. On the other hand, our largest cabin has 17 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 68 guests. The bedrooms can have single or multiple beds. The cabins also have multiple bathrooms. In some of them, each bedroom has its own bathroom. This makes it easy to quickly get ready or wind down for the day!

2. Take Advantage of Amenities

A cabin kitchen with plenty of space for food preparation and storage. When guests rent our Smoky Mountain cabins, they get access to great amenities. Save money on food when you cook meals in the full-size kitchen. When you make a big dish, such as a pot of soup or chili, everyone can have the leftovers throughout the rest of the trip. Other amenities allow you to save money on entertainment. Spend the day relaxing in the bubbling hot tub while admiring the natural scenery. Some of our cabins have private indoor pools as well. Kids in particular will love splashing around and swimming. Spend the night watching movies in the living area. You can also rent a cabin with a home theater room. Other fun amenities that our cabins have include games such as pool, foosball, or arcade machines.

3. Decide What Activities You Most Want to Do

Our cabins have a prime location, as they are just a short drive away from the city. We have cabins all over the Smoky Mountain area. When planning your vacation, consider what activities you most want to do and try to rent a cabin that is close by. There is no wrong choice because each city has its fair share of great attractions. In Pigeon Forge, there is Dollywood theme park and fun museums, such as WonderWorks. Gatlinburg is home to Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, the Gatlinburg Space Needle, and Gatlinburg SkyPark. Finally, Sevierville’s attractions include Forbidden Caverns and Rainforest Adventures Zoo. You can also go see the Dolly Parton statue in front of the Sevier County Courthouse. The singer spent her childhood in Sevierville before becoming a big country music star!

We would love to be a part of your next group vacation! Use these helpful tips and take a look at all of our cabins in the Smoky Mountains to pick the perfect one!
